For dance studio owners

Stop losing families
online.

You don't have a marketing problem. You have a roadblock problem.

Most studios work hard to get families interested. Then the messy middle happens — a parent fills out a form, a trial class gets mentioned but never booked, a follow-up gets delayed, or a promising lead goes quiet because the front desk is already juggling a hundred tiny fires.

Inquiry Rescue reviews the path between "I'm interested" and "We're enrolled" — then gives you practical fixes you can use right away.

The roadblocks you can't see are the ones costing you enrollments.

You don't have a marketing problem. You have a roadblock problem. Your website gives parents information — it just doesn't give them a path.

Registration portal as front door

New families click "Register" before they know which class to choose — and land in a login screen meant for existing parents.

Too many paths, no clear first step

Register, enroll, parent portal, contact us, summer camp, programs — a new parent doesn't know which door is for them.

Forms that collect but don't guide

A parent fills out "I'm interested" but gets no response timeline, no class suggestion, no clear next step. So they wait. Then they forget.

Delayed or missing follow-up

An inquiry comes in during recital week or summer camp chaos. By the time someone responds, the family already called the studio down the road.

Parents have to decode placement alone

Level I, Level II, Pre-Professional, Performance Track — a new parent doesn't know what any of that means for their 6-year-old.

Interested families go silent

They don't complain. They don't unsubscribe. They just… choose the studio that made the next step easier.

How it works

A second set of eyes on the path new families follow.

The audit is not about shaming your staff, replacing your judgment, or adding another complicated system. It's a focused review of what a new parent actually sees and experiences when they try to go from "interested" to "enrolled."

1

We review your public inquiry path

Homepage → getting started → programs → inquiry form or registration → what the parent sees at every decision point. We look at it like a parent would — not a marketing consultant.

2

We identify the roadblocks

Every place a motivated parent might pause, get confused, hit a dead end, or choose a competitor who made the next step easier. Typically 5–10 specific, actionable issues.

3

You get a clear report with fixes you can use immediately

Not a 40-page PDF that lives in a folder called "Later." Prioritized fixes, rewritten copy, follow-up templates, and form improvements your team can start using this week.

From an actual audit we delivered

A Real Audit — Studio Name Removed

This is an actual inquiry-path audit we ran on a real dance studio's website — the same report a studio receives, delivered exactly as they received it. We've removed the studio's name and identifying details — nothing else has been changed. It is not a testimonial, endorsement, or client case study.

It's a real example of what a studio receives from the full Inquiry Roadblock Audit — the kind of practical issues it finds: unclear new-family next steps, registration portals appearing too early, inquiry forms that collect interest but don't fully guide the parent, and small points of confusion that make interested families pause.

Here's what one full write-up actually looks like:

Roadblock 1 May need outside help to build

The registration portal appears too early for new families

What I saw

The public path gave parents a "register now" option that led straight into the studio's account/registration portal — helpful for existing families, but too abrupt for someone brand new.

Why it's a roadblock

A new parent may click "register" before they know which class to choose. Landing in an account/login screen, they wonder: Am I registering for a class, a trial, or just an account? Should I talk to someone first? That small uncertainty is often enough to delay action — then life eats the follow-up.

Recommended fix

  1. In your site builder, add a new page called "Find the Right Class" (Wix: Pages → Add Page; Squarespace: Pages → Add a Page).
  2. Add a short 4–5 field form there: parent name, email, phone, dancer's age and experience.
  3. Change the homepage's primary button to link to this new page instead of straight to registration.
  4. Keep "Register Now" as a smaller, secondary button for parents who already know what they want.
  5. On submission, show a simple confirmation: "Thanks! We'll recommend the right class and follow up within 1 business day."

This is one of six roadblocks in the full sample. The rest — plus the ranked fixes, templates, and tracker — are in the PDF below.

Harrison Knostman

Who's behind this

Built by someone who grew up in the family business — a dance studio.

Harrison Knostman is a Colorado native who grew up in the family business — a dance studio — dancing there from age three and coming to know studio life from the inside long before he trained anywhere else. He went on to study at The Juilliard School, graduating with a BFA in 2022, and was named National Outstanding Dancer by New York City Dance Alliance (NYCDA) twice along the way. After graduating, he danced professionally before returning to teaching. But it's from inside the family business that he first saw how a studio really runs — and how easily an interested family can slip through the cracks before they ever enroll. That's the gap Inquiry Rescue exists to close.

I'm that second set of eyes.
